“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
If we think we can face life’s battles alone, relying solely on our own understanding, we’re fooling ourselves. Pride will only lead to exhaustion and burnout. But God is our ultimate protector, our constant companion, and our source of strength.
When we stand in the midst of battle, He fights alongside us, guiding us and empowering us to overcome. He’s not a distant observer; He’s an active participant in our lives, providing the armor, strength, and strategies we need to defeat our enemies.
It’s not by our might or power, but by the Spirit of God that we triumph. We must be armed and ready with the armor of protection every day, for the battles are real and ongoing.
As believers, we’re not victims, but conquerors, victors, and overcomers – but only when we lean on God and submit to His control. So, let’s ask Him, tell Him our needs, and trust that He’s waiting to respond.”
