Skip to content The word Church has been misinterpreted by many. Some think that Church is the place where we meet together to pray, sing songs and fellowship. But it is the other way around, we the congregation is the church whether we gather together outside , in a park , in a house and we come together and joining together to do what he has called us to do, pray together, worship, fellowship, encourage one another and bear each other’s burden etc. and grow spiritually together , this is the church. A group of people forming one body, with Jesus Christ as the head. I have spoken to many people who have told me I cannot go to church because I cannot afford to buy clothes to go,. Wrong thinking about Church. Church is come as you are. God is not interesting in what you wear. he is interested in your heart. he doesn’t look at whether you are wearing an expensive outfit to church or not, or if you are wearing an inexpensive one. His call is come as you are. and he makes the difference in your life. which no outfit can make. It is so important to watch our hearts, for out of it comes the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23. if you have the money and can dress lovely, there is nothing wrong in doing that and if you do have money, dress with what you have and come and join the congregation, you will certainly be welcomed. God looks at the inside, not the outside, for the beauty is always from the inside and it radiates to the outside.
