Skip to content The tongue is a very powerful weapon, though it doesn’t consist of a bone structure, it is strong and powerful. We should use our tongue to bless others and not to curse them. The negative we speak to other are harmful. We use our tongue and praise God, when say how good God is, we call him Holy, Amen and glory to him, but on the flip side of things we curse others, gossip about them and speaks things that are not editing about them, let us change those mindset and work towards a better mindset that says today I’m going to bless others with my words.
“With the tongue we praise our Lord and father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth comes praise and cursing. My brothers and Sisters, this should not be. Can both salt water and fresh water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.” James 3:9-12
